Set up geofenced attendance

Define your office location so check-ins only count when your team is actually there.

Geofencing ties attendance to a real location: a check-in only succeeds when the person is physically within range of your office.

Configure your geofence

  1. Open Settings → Attendance.
  2. Set your office location and a radius (the allowed distance from that point).
  3. Save. From then on, check-ins outside the radius are flagged.

How your team checks in

Members check in and out from the Attendance page on web, or from the Android app on the go. Their device location is checked against your geofence at that moment.

Geofenced attendance and the Android app are designed to work together — the mobile app is the natural way to check in from the office. It's available as an add-on and included free on the Business plan.
